Passed away on February 24, 2006 in her 91st year in Menno Hospital, Abbotsford.
Born in 1915 in Wiesenfeld, Ukraine to Abraham and Maria Reimer. When she was 8 years old the family (Reimer) moved to Saskatchewan and a few years later to the Chilliwack area.
1940 she married Isaak (Ike) Braun. She and her husband Isaak (Ike) established Braun’s Nurseries in Greendale.
Anne has been residing in Abbotsford since 1999.
Anne was predeceased by husband Ike in 1988 and son Ken in 2002. and 8 siblings. survived by brother George (Ann) Reimer sister Hilda Stagg son Ben (Mary Lue) of Abbotsford, son Walter (Judy) of Port Coquitlam, daughter Julie (Dick) Baerg of Leduc AB. Grandchildren Karen (Dan) Westrup and their family Natalie and Ashley of Ottawa ON, Janice (Steve) Arndt and their family Justin and Bethany of Nelson, Michael (Joanne) Braun of Vancouver, Darrel (Debbie) Baerg and their family Kayla, Tiana and Emily of Kelowna, Carmen (Kevan) Julseth of Edmonton AB. Funeral service wil be held at Greendale Mennonite Brethren Church, 6550 Sumas Prairie Rd at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 11. Cemetery Chilliwack Cemeteries (Little Mountain).
