Anna Schimmelmann passed away early morning Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003 at the age of 87.
Anna immigrated to Regina, SK from Austria with her husband and two children in 1954, and moved to Chilliwack, BC in 1994.
Anna is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Paul; two children: Renate (Lloyd) of Burnaby, BC, and Paul Jr. (Gayle) of Kelowna, BC; three grandchildren, Curtis (Michelle) of Regina, SK; Ryan of Yellowknife, NWT, and Alyson of Abbotsford, BC.
Prayers will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Chilliwack, BC., Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003 at 2:00 p.m.
The family would like to thank her many friends from Rosewood Gardens and the Palliative Care home support nurses of Chilliwack.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the B.C. Cancer Society, 565 West 10th Ave., Vancouver, BC V5Z 4J4, or other charity.
Anna was a very loving, witty, and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her memory will be cherished by all those whose lives she touched.
