Ann Scholing, late of Chilliwack, B.C. passed into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on August 9, 2004 in Red Deer Alberta, at the age of 76 years. She was born February 12, 1928 in Holland and immigrated to Canada in 1950 with her husband Klaas, who predeceased her in 1995. They lived in Chilliwack for the past 32 years.
Ann was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She loved her Lord and was passionate about sharing that love with others. Ann loved gardening, cooking and socializing and was always the life of the party. She opened her home to everyone and loved to serve them her gourmet meals and play cards with them. Ann was a very special Grandma. She often invited the grandkids for sleepovers and loved to take them on special outings. She always had lots of time and hugs to share with them.
Ann will be deeply missed by her loving family; 2 sons Klarence (Yvette) Scholing of Chilliwack: Alvin (Simone) Scholing of Abbotsford: 5 grandchildren: Trevor, Tyler, Evan, Jeremy, Corinna; 2 sisters Margaret and Dein; 1 brother, Morris; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday August 13, 2004 from 7— 8 pm in the chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home, Chilliwack.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday August 14, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Gateway Christian Reformed Church on McCallum Rd, Abbotsford. Pastor Beukema officiating.
Interment at Vedder View Cemetery.
