Amy White went to be with the Lord, on November 19 at Heritage Village Retirement Center in Chilliwack. She was at the age of 95 years. Amy was born in Port Alberni, BC in 1915. She was the younger of two daughters born to Sydney and Amy Kilvington.
On April 13, 1936 she married Norman White and enjoyed 72 wonderful years together before his passing in 2009. Amy’s strong faith and love of her family and friends were an inspiration to all and her warm and loving smile will always be remembered.
Amy is survived by her niece Gloria Greaves; her grandchildren, Sharlene Taylor and Allen Taylor and four great-grandchildren. She was sadly predeceased by her husband, Norman, her sister Edna Le Marquand, and daughter Leona Taylor.
A private family gathering will be held.
