Amanda Joy BOETTCHER

August 6, 2005

Our beloved daughter Amanda Joy Boettcher passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord on August 6, 2005 at home after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 26 years. She was born in Salmon Arm, B.C. on December 8, 1978 and has lived in Chilliwack all of her life.

She leaves to mourn her mother and father Barb and Gus, sister Loralie, many relatives and many many friends.

Amanda was a loving and caring person and was an inspiration to all who knew her. She loved her church and was always active and willing, teaching Sunday School, playing piano and just helping where needed. Amanda worked at the Cottonwood Mall at Suzy Shier, and also at Coast Capital Savings Credit Union.

A special thanks to each and every one who supported her at the fundraiser friends had for her back in June, and to all who prayed; may God bless you all for your kindness.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 10 at 10:00 a.m. in Chilliwack Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 12 at 1:00 p.m. in First Avenue Assembly, 46510 First Avenue, Chilliwack with Pastor Nathan Hewitt officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Ave. Church of God Building Fund or Cancer Research in her memory. We love you Amanda and we are looking forward to seeing you again in heaven.

“But the people who trust in the Lord will become strong again. They will rise up as an eagle in the sky. They will run and not need rest, they will walk and not become tired.” Isaiah 40:31
