“Journey” (by Wendy)

They say life has a beginning but it has no end.

It is only a journey to learn and have family and friends.

Time passes so quickly before we know it

God has taken you away to a promised land.

You now follow his road and at the end you saw his bright light

So now we know you are not lost because you can see it both day and night.

When we look in the night sky and see the brightest star

We know it’s you Mom, wandering and having an adventure much greater afar.

You now know all the mysteries of this wonderful land.

Now your journey is over only to begin in the promised land.

Special thanks to the nurses and caregivers at Heritage Village who made our mom’s last years comfortable. A special thank-you to Dr. Jody Lippa for many years of compassionate care.

Cremation has taken place at Henderson’s Funeral Home. A memorial tea will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Old Age Pensioners Organization (Building Fund) Branch #173 at 5725 Tyson Rd., Chilliwack, BC, V2R 3R6.
