After a long and painful battle with cancer, Alice Franceschi sadly passed away on Monday, January 15th, 2007 at the Fraser Canyon Hospital, Hope, B.C.
Alice loved camping and fishing, as well as working at the family cafe in Vancouver. She truly loved the Vancouver Canucks (#1 Fan). She also loved spending time at their cabin in Sunshine Valley, which her husband, Johnny, built for them.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 22nd, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home, Chilliwack.
Alice is survived by her loving family: husband, Johnny; son, Gary (Miranda); daughters: Kathy (Gord), Diana (Richard); grandchildren, Bradley and Alicia.
The family would like to thank the Hope Hospice Society, Dr. Botha and all the staff at the Fraser Canyon Hospital for the kindness and care shown while looking after Alice. She will be truly missed by family and friends.
Should family and friends desire, donations in memory of Alice may be made to either the Hope Hospice Society or Canuck Place.
