Alfred Lee Moore
November 17, 1937 ~ April 20, 2017
Lee passed away in the Eden Care Home after residing in Chilliwack for almost 80 years. He is survived by his daughters Gayleen Moore, Colleen Buchwitz (Gerald) and grandson Logan, sister Joan Brannick, brother Colonel Moore and (former wife) Diane Gail Moore. Mr Al Moore also lost his son Scott Moore on that same day. Lee was predeceased by his siblings, Elizabeth, Walter and Darlene. Alfred Lee Moore grew up on a farm but at a young age he started working for B.C Tel as a lineman. In 1976 Lee and Gordie started a business called “Moore and Johnston Heavy Equipment Ltd. Mr Moore was a trusting, hardworking family man, with love for the great outdoors. He belonged to the Fish-N -Gun Club. He made time for hunting, fishing and camping with his family. Alfred Lee Moore was well known in Chilliwack and will be missed by all those who knew him. A Viewing will be held at Henderson’s Funeral Home on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 10 am. A funeral Service will be held also on May 5, 2017 at 11 am. A burial will follow at Chilliwack Cemetery, with a Reception held back at Henderson’s in the Tea Room.
