Alfred John While late of Chilliwack, B.C. passed away October 23, 2006 at the age of 83. He was born May 23, 1923 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Jack was a veteran of World War II and served with the Royal Canadian Airforce in the pipe band. He was in the Winnipeg Police Force for more than 25 years.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home on Thursday, November 2, 2006 at 1:30 p.m., Major John Moore officiating. Cremation, Henderson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium.
He is survived by his wife, Diane; son, Rick (Donna) While of Delta, daughter, Nancy (Ken) Simon of Saskatoon; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Kay.
Should family and friends so desire, donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C. and Yukon.
