Alfred Carl Day passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2002 at Valley Haven Care Home in Chilliwack, at age 76 years. He was born April 12, 1926 in Winter, Saskatchewan.
Alfred is survived by his wife, Florence; children, Bonnie (Dennis) Johnson of Revelstoke, A’dena (Rob) Elias, Darren (Candace) Day, and Carey (Rhonda) Day all of Chilliwack; five grandchildren; and two sisters, Thelma and Ellen. He was predeceased by his son Carlyn Alfred in 1971 and his daughter Donna-Joy in 1965.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, July 15, 2002 at First Avenue Christian Assembly in Chilliwack, Pastor Elmer Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Vedder View Gardens Cemetery in Sardis.
