Alexander Richard “Rich” MUXLOW

Alexander Richard “Rich” Muxlow late of Chilliwack, B.C. passed away peacefully on January 15, 2006 at the age of 87.

He was born December 24, 1918 in Sedley, Saskatchewan and lived at Gladmar, Saskatchewan for 40 years before moving to the Chilliwack area where he was a pioneer in the dairy industry. During his retirement years he enjoyed spending the winters in California and Arizona.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Atchelitz Hall on Friday, January 20, 2006 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Programme at 3:00 p.m. Cremation, Henderson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; children: Stuart (Linda); Kathleen (Harry) Lang; daughter-in-law, Maggie Muxlow; Neil; Glenn; Hal (Wendy); Harvey (Susie) all of the Chilliwack area. Also survived by grandchildren: Robin (Chris), Dennis, Kara (Owen), Nadia, Melanie (Elmar), Jody, Kevin (Serena), Colin (Tamara), Tessa, Sarah, Jessica, Kaylee, Sheila, Calvin, Julianne; great-grandchildren: Gibson, Cicely, Ethan, Anaka, Kalan, Amelia, Grace, Fraser, Spencer; and a brother, Al (Jean) Muxlow of Abbotsford.

He was predeceased by his wife, Kathleen “Kay”; brothers, Gerald, Robert, Lenard; grandson, Timothy and son, Ivan.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C. and Yukon or the Chilliwack Hospice.
