GENDRON (nee: ALMQUIST), ALDA NATILDA, was born in Trail, B.C. on August 8, 1915 and passed away peacefully in the Chilliwack General Hospital on March 4, 2006 at the age of 90 years.
Alda was predeceased by her son, Bert in 1967 and her husband, Joseph Edmond (Frenchy) in 1995, her brothers Allan and Roy and her sisters Alice and Katherine.
Mom/Grandma will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by her daughter, Wendy Turner; sons Gerry (Fran) and Ken (Brenda), 5 grandchildren, Kelli (Gen), Shane (James), Kristopher, Meagan (Ashley) and Danielle, one great grandson Aiden and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters Melvina and Irene, her brothers Arnold (Bethe) and Eddy.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at 3:00 pm at the Chapel of Henderson’s Funeral Home with Major Angus Haggarty officiating. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or any charity of your choice would be appreciated.
