Albert John Baerg passed away in his home on July 12, 2004 in his 77th year. With his wife by his side, he battled courageously for almost a year against cancer.
He will always be remembered for his witty nature, and mischievous laughter. Albert was a loving, loyal husband, father, and grandfather with a heart made of gold.
With his love of cars, cooking, and his stubborn opinions about politics, he gave his own colour to the painting that makes up the world. He truly was a remarkable addition to the love of our family.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Beverly; children, Ron (Barb), Stan, Randy (Lyn), Mark (Sharon), Jim (Vicki), and Janet (John); grandchildren, Michael, Bryan (Janett), Daniel (Jenny), Justin, Brianne, Catherine, Brittany, Travis, Corinne, Dana, Jordan, Adam, Christopher, Andrew, and Michael; great-grandchildren, Nico, Danny, and Brayden; and his many brothers and sisters and their families.
A memorial service is to be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2004 at Broadway Mennonite Church, 46611 Maple Ave., Chilliwack.
