Adele MacDONALD

December 12, 2003

Adele MacDonald, late of Sardis, B.C., passed away Dec. 12, 2003 at her home in Sardis at the age of 73 years.

She was born Dec. 29, 1929 in Mikado, SK and had lived in this area for 43 years.

She was a devoted and loving wife and mother who was an avid gardener and homemaker. Mom enjoyed socializing with neighbours and friends and the occasional game of bingo. Mom was in her element during her family dinners and get-togethers, especially those with her grandchildren.

A private committal service was held Dec. 17, 2003 at the Vedder View Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Stan Smith officiated.

Adele is survived by her two sons: Douglas (Kim) of Prince George, B.C., and Robert (Brenda) of Surrey, B.C.; her grandchildren: Jeff, Stephanie, Barbara, Kyle, Caleigh and Cameron.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the Palliative Care Team and Unit at Chilliwack General Hospital; Home Support Staff, Dr. R. Insanally and Dr. P. Klimo, who helped make Mom so comfortable during her illness.

She was predeceased by her husband Hugh MacDonald (Jan. 11, 1983) and her parents William and Ann Kuruliak.

Should family and friends so desire, donations in her memory may be made to a charity of choice.

We Love you Mom.
