OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN BYLAWAMENDMENT BYLAW2024, No. 5380 (OCP00046)
Applicant: City of Chilliwack
Purpose: The Provincial government recently enacted several Bills (“Housing Statutes”) that change development review processes for municipalities across BC, including Chilliwack. Due to these Provincial changes, updates to the Comprehensive Development Area (CDA) land use designation are required to maintain development review consistency. This housekeeping change to the CDA land use designation ensures residential rezoning applications in these areas are reviewed consistently with current practices.
