Camping gear was strewn across the road and a truck was totally damaged after it rolled over while exiting Highway 1 westbound in Chilliwack Tuesday morning.

The single-vehicle collision happened shortly after 10 a.m. when a blue Dodge pickup truck flipped on the Vedder Road off-ramp and landed back on its wheels blocking the entire northbound lane.

At least four people were inside the truck when the incident happened. No one was seriously hurt and everyone “refused” ambulance transport, according to RCMP on scene.

As of 11 a.m. the northbound off-ramp lane at Vedder Road was still blocked.
