A motorcycle involved in a crash with a Ford Taurus was loaded onto the back of a tow truck Thursday morning (July 26) on Whatcom Road at South Parallel.

A 63-year-old motorcyclist and his 62-year-old passenger from Chilliwack were taken to hospital with what were believed to be serious injuries after a collision with a car Thursday morning in Abbotsford.

The crash occurred just before 8 a.m. in the area of Whatcom and South Parallel roads.

Const. Ian MacDonald said a 65-year-old Abbotsford man driving a 1995 Ford Taurus failed to yield to a 2008 Harley Davidson, resulting in a "low-speed impact."

The driver of the Taurus was issued a ticket for failing to yield to traffic.
