Suspect sought in 7-Eleven robbery

Chilliwack RCMP are looking for information after a masked man robbed a Yale Road 7-Eleven store Wednesday night.

The man, described as “slightly chubby,” wore a black, homemade mask that covered his entire face.

The robbery occurred at around 10:40 p.m. at the convenience store located at 45632 Yale Road.

The suspect is decried as approximately 5’6″ – 5’7″ tall, medium build. In addition to the mask, he wore a black jacket, baggy black jogging pants and rubber boots.  He also had a black backpack with white shoulder straps.

The man departed the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Extensive patrols were made, however the suspect was not located.
