North Vancouver RCMP have confirmed they are investigating an alleged sexual assault last weekend involving a group of youth.

Corp. Richard De Jong said the minors are all associated through the same school, but was unable to confirm their age.

Dan Moric, superintendent with the Catholic Independent Schools Vancouver Archdiocese, said an email was sent to parents, informing them of an “incident that may have occurred between students,” and that parents should speak with their children.

Mounties are asking students with any information to contact police.

No further detail has been provided.
