Baffled by the new curbside waste collection rules in Chilliwack?

City of Chilliwack has been hosting outreach events, and sharing info since April to answer any questions that residents may have.

Two more of these information sessions are scheduled this week, on Wednesday and Saturday.

The staff has been engaging the public in various ways to get everyone on the same page, since the compostable materials started being collected on May 1. Four outreach events were held in April, and four were scheduled for May.

Anyone with questions can pop by the booth at the Cheam Leisure Centre on Wednesday, May 17, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Those who can’t make it Wednesday, can check out the info booth at Cottonwood Mall on Saturday, May 20, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Those who can’t make it in person can call the Engineering Department at 604-793-2787, or email curbside@chilliwack.com.
