Crews from three fire halls extinguished a blaze in a mobile office building early Sunday morning.

Firefighters from halls one, four and six were called out to the 45000 block of Railway Avenue around 3 a.m.

A modular-style mobile office building in a gated compound was showing heavy smoke and flames. Firefighters moved quick and were able to contain the blaze and keep it from spreading to nearby vehicles and trees.

No firefighter or civilian injuries were reported.

The fire is under investigation by the Chilliwack Fire Department and RCMP fire investigators. Anyone who has info about the fire is asked to call the RCMP at 604-792-4611 or Crimestoppers (anonymously) at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
