Early-morning fire guts house on Ashwell in Chilliwack

Firefighters responded to a house fire on Ashwell Road at Kipp Avenue at 5 a.m. Saturday.

The house was fully-engulfed when crews from Halls 1 and 4 arrived on scene. The fire was knocked down quickly.

It is unknown if anyone was inside the house at the time or if anyone was injured as a result.
