Targeted assault lands Chilliwack man in hospital

A Chilliwack man is in hospital with serious injuries following an assault that police are calling a targeted attack.

The victim was attacked by two men at around 6 a.m. Thursday morning in his home, located in the 9200 block of Edward Avenue.

The attackers both wore masks. One was over six feet in height and the other was under six feet in height.

Following the attack, the victim made his way to hospital where police were called. His injuries are described as serious, but non-lifesaving.

The RCMP’s Serious Crime Unit has taken over the investigation.
