FVRD takes over dog licensing from Chilliwack

Any Chilliwack dog owners who did not receive a dog licence renewal notice are being asked to contact the Fraser Valley Regional District.

The FVRD has taken over responsibility from the City of Chilliwack for managing dog licences and animal control issues.

Renewal notices were recently sent out to dog owners with a licensed dog.

Owners can renew their pooch's licence online at fvrd.gc.bc.ca/payments with a credit card, or at the office at 45950 Cheam Avenue. Anyone who has not received a renewal notice by the end of January, is asked to call 604-702-5000.

For any enforcement related issues, please call Animal Control directly at 604.795.4638 or email animalcontrol@fvrd.bc.ca.
