Assault sends Chilliwack man to hospital
A 28-year-old Chilliwack man is in hospital with serious injuries following what police believe was a targeted assault Wednesday evening.
RCMP are releasing few details about the incident, which occurred around 7:30 p.m. in the 46000 block of First Avenue.
"What we can tell you at this point in the investigation, is that police believe this was a targeted attack," says Corporal Tammy Hollingsworth. "Serious Crime investigators are working diligently to determine the motive behind the attack."
