Teskey Market robbed at knife point

A knife-wielding man robbed the Teskey Market on Friday, Chilliwack RCMP reported Monday.

Police said an employee called police at about 6:30 p.m. to say a masked man had entered the store located at 5625 Promontory Road  demanding money and wielding a knife.

The suspect was described as about six feet tall with a heavy build and wearing a grey hooded jacket, black pants, and a black toque.

The suspect left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Chilliwack RCMP at 604-792-4611 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
