Older man on bike exposes himself to young girls in Chilliwack
Chilliwack RCMP are looking for a man who exposed himself to two 10-year-old girls playing at McCammon Elementary school on Saturday afternoon.
Police said the man exposed himself and began to touch himself in front of the children before pedaling away on a black bicycle.
"This is obviously a big concern for us," Const. Tracy Wolbeck said.
"It was the middle of the day, on a bright sunny day, and the suspect was not deterred by the thought of an adult seeing his actions," she said.
And if the police investigation shows a link to an earlier incident in April, she said, it would "increase the level of priority" given to the Saturday incident.
In the April incident, an older man with a grey moustache and riding a blue or black bicycle exposed himself to two girls walking along the Hope Slough.
In the Saturday incident, the suspect is described as a white man in his 40s with grey hair and a short grey beard. He was wearing a blue T-shirt with black pants at the time of the 1:30 p.m. incident.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Chilliwack RCMP at 604-792-4611 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
