A pizza parlour bandit in Chilliwack bear-sprayed a customer and a store employee before fleeing on foot with the loot.

"A robbery with this type of violence is of particular concern and is being fully investigated," RCMP Const. Tracy Wolbeck said.

A lone male entered the Dominos Pizza outlet on Vedder Road at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s standing about six feet tall. He was wearing dark jeans, a beige-clooured rain jacket and a baseball cap worn backwards at the time of the robbery.

He is also described as having dark, bushy eyebrows.
