Older man on bike exposes himself to young girls in Chilliwack
An older man with a grey moustache and riding a blue/black bicycle exposed himself to two girls Sunday on the trail along the Hope Slough.
Chilliwack RCMP said the two young girls were playing in a backyard that backed onto the trail at about noon when the man approached them from the other side of the fence.
"The little girls did the right thing in running away from the man and telling an adult immediately," Const. Tracy Wolbeck said.
"This is a disturbing incident that we want parents to be aware of," she said.
Police were called to the area, but were unable to locate the man.
The suspect is described as over 40 years old, with grey hair and a grey moustache. He was wearing grey shorts and an orange hat at the time.
He was riding a blue/black bike along the Hope Slough dike just west of Young Road.
Anyone who may have seen the man, or has other information about the incident, is asked to call the Chilliwack RCMP at 604-792-4611.
