Protesters rally to protect wild salmon
A small group of about 20 protesters marched from Coqualeetza to MP Mark Strahl's office on Thursday to send the message that fish farms are not welcome on the B.C. coast.
The group of First Nations and other salmon advocates was led by Skwah elder Eddie Gardner who spoke on behalf of the group and demanded an immediate response to the alleged detection of Infectious Salmon Anemia virus (ISAv) in B.C. wild salmon.
