Funeral service for Betty Fox open to the public

Final goodbyes can be made to Betty Fox this Saturday.

A funeral service for the cancer crusader will be held in Port Coquitlam on Saturday, June 25 at 1 p.m. at the Trinity United Church, located at 2211 Prairie Avenue.

The service is open to the public. However, because church seating is limited, the family is requesting those interested in attending notify them through email at bettyfoxservice@gmail.com

The 73-year-old mother of Terry Fox passed away last Friday. No details of her death have been provided.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Terry Fox Foundation online at www.terryfox.org or by mail c/o The Terry Fox Foundation, #303-46167 Yale Road, Chilliwack, B.C., V2P 2P2.
