The search continues to find Wesley Bosman, 27, who has been missing since early Tuesday morning.

Search efforts have stepped up in Abbotsford to find a man who has been missing since early Tuesday morning (April 23).

An initial news release from the Abbotsford Police Department indicated that Wesley Bosman, 27, was last seen at 3 a.m. that day on foot near Ash Street and Cedar Avenue in east Abbotsford.

But updated reports on social media state that he is believed to have last been spotted at the 7-Eleven store on McCallum Road and Cannon Avenue.

It is also possible that he was seen around Larch Park in east Abbotsford, the reports state.

The search on Wednesday (April 24) included 17 members of Central Fraser Valley Search and Rescue (CFVSAR).

Search manager Lee Holeczek said the members were on hand from 9:30 a.m. until dark, combing the wooded areas near where Bosman was last seen.

“We have suspended the search, awaiting any new information that would indicate the need for our team to search new areas,” he said on Thursday morning.

A Facebook group titled “Find Wesley Bosman” has also been started to share updates, including potential sightings and areas that have been, or should be, searched.

The page stresses that anyone who finds Bosman – or believes they have – should take a picture, call 911 and remain with him until help arrives.

Bosman is six-foot-two and 120 pounds with short dark-blonde hair and an orangeish-brown moustache with traces of a beard.
