Chilliwack RCMP trying to catch robbery suspect

Police hope someone will identify the person who appears in security camera footage

Chilliwack RCMP is trying to identify a suspect in an early December gas station robbery.

The gas station is in the 45000-block of Hocking Avenue, and security camera footage appears to catch a person red-handed.

The robbery happened in the early morning hours of Dec. 6.

“RCMP is reaching out to the public for assistance to identify this individual,” said Cpl. Mike Rail, RCMP spokesperson.

Anyone with information is asked to phone the Chilliwack RCMP at 604-792-4611 or Crime Stoppers (anonymously) at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
