Too few options at Chilliwack all-candidates meetings

I note in your April 12 edition that in the listings of the “all candidates meetings” only two are available to people who work days and even the two in the evening are on a weeknight which excludes those who, like my daughter and son-in-law work too early to be able to attend.

I note in your April 12 edition that in the listings of the “all candidates meetings” only two are available to people who work days and even the two in the evening are on a weeknight which excludes those who, like my daughter and son-in-law work too early to be able to attend.

In addition, only one of the evening meetings are for the Chilliwack proper riding which unlike Chilliwack/Kent has the largest number of voters.

Are the politicians or those sponsoring the meetings trying to capture as few people as possible? Could they not arrange a meeting on weekends?
