Folks can experience some of the world’s best mountain films when a screening comes to Chilliwack in March.

The Best of the Fest Tour — Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival is at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre on March 16.

This extravaganza of high-octane and hair-raising cinema blends a love of adventure with pioneering film-making for a night packed with energy, exploration, and the ultimate displays of human achievement.

Each year, the VIMFF takes award-winning and other selected films on tour across Canada, the U.S. and around the world. Over the past decade, The Best of the Fest Tour has become a cornerstone event for Chilliwack’s outdoor community.

From the arctic to the old growth rainforest, the films include heart-stopping rock climbing, breathtaking mountaineering, base jumping, cross-continental solo bike journeys, and scaling Canada’s most daunting peaks.

There’s also a chance to win one of many door prizes.

The Best of the Fest Tour — Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival is coming to the Chilliwack Cultural Centre on March 16 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $22 for adults, and can be purchased at the Centre Box Office, online at chilliwackculturalcentre.ca, or by calling 604-391-SHOW(7469).
