Slam poetry at Cultural Centre in October
A rapid-fire battle of wits is coming to the Rotary Hall Studio Theatre of the Chilliwack Cultural Centre October 6 at 7:30 p.m. with a furious display of slam poetry.
Award-winning poetry champion Brendan McLeod steps onto the stage with his Travelin’ SLAM show of spirited storytelling and fantastic poetry.
Part of the Chilliwack Arts and Cultural Centre Society’s Festival Series, Travelin’ SLAM is hosted by the Fugitives’ Brendan McLeod and offer poetic justice like you’ve never seen before.
Three poets will compete for top honours in an interactive fun event that includes audience judges, boisterous cheers, disapproving boos, high-fives, and lots, and lots of great poetry.
