Pardon My Striptease playing hometown Chilliwack
Chilliwack band Pardon My Striptease is stoked to kick off the Canada Day weekend in style.
They’re getting ready to play Echo Room in their hometown of Chilliwack on June 30.
“We’re actually really excited about it,” said PMS drummer Dylan Weightman. “We haven’t done a full-on headlining show here since last year.”
They’ve been busy performing in Vancouver and appeared with other acts at a benefit locally, but the guys miss playing their hearts out for a hometown audience.
“We’ve got a lot of cool announcements coming this summer,” said Weightman. “But I can’t say what they are yet.”
He would say they’ve co-written a song with Ryan Dahle, and more will be released about the collaboration in the coming weeks.
Pardon My Striptease, Echo Room, June 30, doors at 9 p.m., tickets $10 from the band’s freshly updated website www.pardonmystriptease.com or by email to: tickets@pardonmystriptease.com or in-store: Unsworth Market 5600 Unsworth Rd, Chilliwack.
