Music meets comedy at Bozzini's
They've had numerous requests to book a comedy act in the upstairs lounge at Bozzini's.
Now they're giving it a go on May 15 with a night of music and comedy featuring singer-songwriter Sean Burns and comedian Lori Ferguson Ford of Chilliwack.
Burns is an Ontario-based singer-songwriter with a knack for a catchy chorus and memorable melody. It's his third time in Chilliwack with a musical vibe that echoes Steve Earle, Blue Rodeo, and Tom Petty, and lyrics that embody the caustic wit of Tom Waits and Warren Zevon.
The laughs will be generated by Chilliwack's own Lori Ferguson Ford who has appeared on the The Comedy Network, CBC radio's Madly Off In All Directions and headlined comedy clubs across Canada. She was voted B.C.’s Funniest New Comic and four years later B.C.’s Funniest Woman.
Burns and Ford, Bozzini's, Tuesday, May 15, show at 8 p.m., doors 6 p.m. Tickets $20 at Bozzini's or 604 792 0744 to reserve.
