Find Me My Furever Home is a weekly video featuring animals up for adoption at the Chilliwack SPCA. It is put together by The Progress in partnership with the Chilliwack SPCA.
A four-year-old stray male cat came into the Chilliwack SPCA shelter recently, and now Blue is looking for his ‘furever’ home.
“He is super affectionate, loves being brushed and doesn’t seem to mind other cats,” said Chloé MacBeth, Chilliwack SPCA branch manager.
“He’s a very laid back, easy-going guy, but still very active.”
Blue is very food motivated, MacBeth added, explaining how cats can benefit from treat bags and puzzle toys with food inside them.
“It’s a good way to stimulate them mentally and get them some physical activity… and make sure they’re using those hunting skills.”
Due to COVID-19, the Chilliwack SPCA branch is only open by appointment. You can call them at 604-823-6612.
If you’re interested in adopting Blue, or any other animal from the Chilliwack SPCA, call the shelter. You can also go online to spca.bc.ca to see all of the animals that are up for adoption or to learn more about fostering animals.
Blue’s SPCA ID number is: 517147.
