Pie Day in Chilliwack raises funds for Terry Fox Foundation

“I Fly for Pie!” is the slogan seen by travelers and local community members who frequent the Chilliwack Airport Coffee Shop for their delicious, homemade pies.

However, buying one of these delectable treats will bear much more importance on June 25.

All funds collected on Tuesday, June 25 will be donated to the Terry Fox Foundation, whether it is through the purchase of a single slice of pie or the whole thing.

This is the third year that longtime supporters of the Terry Fox Foundation and owners of The Chilliwack Airport Coffee Shop, the Good sisters, will be donating 100 per cent of all pie sales to the foundation in honour of Betty Fox, who passed away in June, 2011.

This year, you can order a pie by calling 604-792-0814 or place an order for a future pickup. There are more than 30 types of pies to choose from, making this an opportunity that you can take advantage of for your future, pie-eating self.
