World Day of Prayer March 1

The annual World Day of Prayer will be held at St. Mary’s Church in Chilliwack on Friday, March 1, beginning at 1 p.m.

This is an ecumenical service, with women from visiting churches participating.

The focus of this year’s event is the country of France. The public is invited to learn more about the culture and heritage of European nation, as people from 170 countries from around the world and 2,000 communities from across Canada pray and act in solidarity with the people of France.

There will be a reception in St. Mary’s centre following the service.

All are welcome.

St. Mary’s is located at 8909 Mary Street, Chilliwack.
