Chilliwack Hospice ED moving on
The Chilliwack Hospice Society announced this week that executive director Geri McGrath will be leaving the society in early March. McGrath has accepted a position with the Vancouver Hospice Society and will be spearheading the opening of their hospice beds.
Under McGrath’s leadership the Chilliwack Hospice Society has seen major growth in programing, community engagement and capacity as an organization to respond to the needs of the community, said board president Ann Ramsbottom.
“The Board of Directors would like to thank McGrath for her leadership and commitment to hospice care and wish her all the best in Vancouver,” she said.
The Society has already begun an active search for a new executive director.
