Runners in Chilliwack raised funds for hospital
Nearly 600 people took part in this year's Run For Mom and more than $31,000 was raised for medical equipment for the maternity ward at Chilliwack General Hospital on Sunday.
The annual Fraser Valley Hospital Foundation Mother's Day fundraiser featured a 5km and 8km race — leaving from the UFV Trades and Technology Centre and looping around via the Vedder Rotary Trail — as well as a 1km fun run for children.
