The new 75-room Hampton Inn by Hilton Chilliwack, scheduled to open July 2013, has named Christopher Beaton as its new general manager. Beaton's previous experience with opening new hotels, most recently the award-winning Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Lethbridge, is a welcome skill set for Chillliwack's newest hotel property.  As general manager, Beaton will direct all areas of the hotel's operations, including guest services, sales and marketing efforts and hotel administration.

"Based on Beaton's outstanding record in hotel management, we are confident that he will be instrumental in ensuring the success of the Hampton Inn by Hilton Chilliwack," said Heath Stone, managing partner of HHG Canada, the hotel's ownership group.

Prior to joining Chilliwack's Hampton Inn by Hilton management team, Christopher was responsible for opening and managing a similar Hilton Worldwide property in Lethbridge, which earned the coveted TripAdvisor Travels' Choice Award 2012 for the Top 25 in Service among Canadian hotels.  Beaton's resume reflects his genuine dedication to customer service, said Stone, and proven ability to consistently deliver results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the Hampton Inn by Hilton.
